Alright, folks, Buckle up! This weeks epsiode is with a living legend, Kevin Maddern. He’s a father of 3, a man who can fix a blister faster than you can lace up your shoes and give a hug that’s better than any warm-up stretch. He's basically royalty in the Pegasus and South Wales running community, where you'll either find him logging insane miles or handing out watermelon and free massages to fellow runners. He's also a Running Punk and the founder of Mad Running Junkies, a race clearly named after himself. This is more like a chat with an old friend, rather than an episode. Mad Running Junkies event - DUSK TILL DAWN 2025. How far can you run from 6pm till 6am? With 10 mile loops, rain, mud, hills, fallen tress and frogs runners pushed themselves and encouraged each other to achieve their best. Nightmare before Christmas Trail half marathon held by Mad Running Junkies is as it sounds, a nightmare before Christmas, but in a good way. If you're looking for a challenging, fun, surprise filled trail half before Christmas....then this is the one for you. I turned up just to chill and enjoy the day and ended up out performing my expectations... With slips, falls and getting lost adding to the conditions and course this was an eventful race. Id like to thank Kev and all the marshals for all the effort put into organising this event and look forward to doing more event in the future.
