To earn your  stunning medal you must first take on

26.2 Miles of an EPICALLY challenging route with a mixed terrain which has everything: from a few killer hills, a lovely Quarry section (THE HILL OF DOOM) with some spectacular views and a downhill forestry trail section which can be a little technical on days but is well worth the climb to the top of the forestry, you will really have to dig deep and use  all your True Grit and Determination to make it to the Top let alone the END.

You will then be transported 200 years in the past when you will run past the Bedford ironworks which is located at the heart of the 40-acre Bedford Park area , which is surrounded by a network of footpaths and the all-weather Celtic Trail track.. The ironworks is a scheduled ancient monument and one of the most complete of its kind in Britain.

You will then be thrown into the depth of despair when you have to take on and tackle the New Quarry Section and navigate through the slag heaps bit by bit with mud and water and then TAKE ON THE NEW SECTION WE HAVE NAMED MOUNT MAYHEM in TRUE MAD RUNNING JUNKIES STYLE before  you descend back to the last flat muddy mile to the finish line as a total BAD ASS !!

BE WARNED THIS IS NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED.

 

ONLY 60 MORTAL SOULS CAN ENTER. 

 

HOW MANY MORTAL SOULS WILL ENTER AND  RETURN THE SAME IS LEFT TO BE SEEN !!!

 

THE COURSE WILL BE MARKED OUT AND GPX SO YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN FINISHING.

 

There are 5 major Check Points and feed stations on the route which have water and jelly babies etc!

 

Race starts at 8:00am and will finish when the final person completes the Course.
